Everything you need to know to create, submit, and sell successful products on CodeVault.
All products on CodeVault go through a manual review process. We evaluate every item against these core quality pillars:
Clean, well-structured code following modern best practices for the language/framework. Proper indentation, meaningful variable names, and minimal code smells.
A detailed README covering installation, configuration, usage examples, and a list of features. Inline code comments where helpful.
The product must do exactly what is described. All core features must work as advertised without critical bugs on first install.
Your work must be original. Third-party libraries must be properly licensed (MIT, Apache 2.0, etc.) and declared in your item's license info.
For UI components and templates: clean design, consistent spacing, and tested across modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
Avoid bloat. Code should run efficiently. For web items, Lighthouse performance score ≥ 80 is strongly encouraged.
All source code must be delivered in a ZIP archive. Maximum upload size: 200 MB.

The following items will be immediately rejected or removed, and repeated violations may result in account suspension:
Code containing viruses, trojans, keyloggers, privilege escalation exploits, or any form of malicious software.
Reselling GPL/premium themes or plugins without proper authorization. Obfuscated code that hides third-party components.
Submitting someone else's open-source project as your own original work without proper attribution or added value.
Pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult-only content of any kind.
Code or content promoting hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any group.
Proof-of-concept stubs, broken demos, or placeholder code with no real functionality.
Submitting the same product multiple times under different names to game category visibility.
Misleading screenshots, feature lists, or compatibility claims. What you show must be what buyers get.
Upload your ZIP and fill in all product details: title, description, category, tags, screenshots, and price.
Our system scans for known malware signatures, invalid archives, and missing required files.
A human reviewer installs and tests your product against quality standards. They may approve, approve with notes, or request changes.
If changes are needed, you'll receive specific feedback. You have 14 days to resubmit.
Approved products go live immediately. You'll receive an email notification with your product URL.
